Nutritious food, infant supplies, along with safe sleep and transportation offer essential support in the earliest years of life—and the opportunity to heal, regain strength, and flourish for those recovering from illness or surgery.
This summer, you can be the difference. Your gift to Jefferson Healthcare Foundation will provide compassionate support for non-medical needs that insurance does not typically cover—and can change the course of a patient's health or a new family's first months.
What Your Gift Makes Possible
- Patients in cancer care, participating in diabetes support, and new families can receive nutritious food when they need it most.
- Through VegRx, a partnership with the Jefferson County Farmers Markets Association, families on Medicaid with children under 18 receive vouchers for fresh vegetables during the market season.
- New families can receive cribettes for safe sleep, diapers through our partnership with First Step Family Support Center, car seats for safe transportation, three-day food bags, immunization reminders, and childcare development support in partnership with the YMCA.
These services are essential, but they are not typically reimbursed by insurance. Generosity makes it possible for Jefferson Healthcare to sustain—and expand—this work as community needs grow.
